Join Rosemary for her Cutwork Software and Cutwork Embroidery classes in March

Rosemary is a Bernina software artist whose accomplishments include magnificent large embroidery designs, huge cross stitch designs which include multiple hooping, commercial designs for her business and quilting creations. Now she is adding Bernina Cutwork to her list. She is will teach basics, intermediate, and depending on the time many advanced features in a one day “hands on” software class. She has a private agenda also, she owns hundreds if not thousands of Cutwork embroidery designs. She, like you, is cutting applique & piecing shapes and will show the use of the cutwork tool for this art form.. We will have samples for almost every use that we can think of….. Bring ideas! Digitize with the software on Friday. Embroider your Cutwork designs that were created on Saturday.

Bernina Cutwork Weekend   $75.00

Friday                  March 26              10:00- 4:00     Software day

Using the Cutwork software from BERNINA you will learn to digitize several designs including one that is from a commercial cd such as OESD or Anita Goodesign.  Make sure that the software is installed on your computer and can be opened before coming to class.

Saturday               March 27             10:00-4:00       Embroidery day

Because the cutwork tool only works on Bernina embroidery machines other than the Bernina 165 you will need to bring a Bernina embroidery machine that can read the designs that you worked on yesterday.  Bring fabric to work with the cutwork tool. 

$75.00 includes lunch for both days      

The supplies for this class are as follows

Cutwork Tool & software installed on your lap top
Bernina embroidery machine except 165E
Bernina embroidery unit, oval hoop
Method to download the embroidery information to the machine- either by direct download which means having the cable to connect the machine and computer and this does work before class or having a memory stick that does work before class in downloading designs to the machine
Fabric for the class:
Linen, or heavy cotton- natural fiber fabric preferred
Totally Stable by Sulky that is ironed to the back of the fabric or Wet & Gone Tacky on the back of the fabric, Aqua Mesh Plus on the back of the fabric
Polyester embroidery thread to coordinate or enhance the project

Should you wish to take the class to observe the process, you can pay the class fee and audit the class
There will be a machine in class that you can share to see the cutwork process.

Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you receive a class confirmation form and supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated.

Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
There are no refunds on national teachers. If you can not make the class please find a substitute. We will assume that you are the one coming to class unless otherwise notified. Let us know who your substitute is or give them your registration form.

For our in store classes the refund policy is: Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee refunded. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees. There is no refund for National and out of town teachers. This class is one of those.
