Serger Block PROJECT of the Month 2010

Supplies needed:  Serger that can use decorative threads, all the serger accessories,

February: SERGER “Wallet on a String”

Materials needed, in addition to serger & accessories:

½ yd. firmly woven fabric like denim or twill
Fusible Fleece – cut 6” x 17”
Nylon coil ZIPPER 7" or 9" or zipper by the yard
Velcro – ¾” wide - 6 inches to sew in
Decorative thread to Match or contrast- 2 spools
Sewing thread to match deco thread –
Small piece of lt.wt. clear vinyl
1 ½ yd. upholstery braid for strap (small, round type)
Or something else prepared –narrow.  Ida has extra braid in a dusty aqua blue color------enough for all the class. She also has vinyl.

We will also be stitching some with regular sewing machine. One will be set up for classroom, but some ladies have a small one they prefer to bring to classes to help stitching go faster.

Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you receive a class confirmation form and supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated. Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
There are no refunds on national teachers. If you can not make the class please find a substitute. We will assume that you are the one coming to class unless otherwise notified. Let us know who your substitute is or give them your registration form.

For our in store classes the refund policy is: Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee refunded. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees.
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, individuals who registered for that class will be notified and a full refund will be mailed. 210-344-0791
