Learn to thread your serger and sew basic seams and hem finishes in this class that is open to all makes and models of sergers. Your serger must be in good working order. Please bring your instruction manual to class.

Coverstitch Mastery (Bernina sergers only)
FREE IF PURCHASED AT CREATIVE SEWING CENTER
Serger in good working order. This class will not fix a broken serger. Bring your foot control, cord, all accessories This Coverstitch Class is FREE for owners of Coverstitch machines purchased at Creative Sewing Center. Make sure your serger has a Coverstitch capability. You must have taken Serger Mastery prior to this class. You must be comfortable with your serger. Bring the serger totally un- threaded. You will be starting from scratch.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE NECESSARY PARTS TO CHANGE YOUR MACHINE TO THE COVERSTITCH-Serger in good working order with foot control & Cord, all accessories that came with your serger even if you do not know what they are. There are none available to borrow
Thread: bring red, green, blue, yellow thread from Serger #1 & 2
Bring scissors, and all serger accessories to change needles and thread machine
Bring needles that came with serger
1 spool of pearl rayon thread
3 pieces of flannel 6" x 10"
3 pieces of cotton fabric 6" x 10"
3 pieces of knit or sweatshirt fabric 6" x 10"
1 piece of denim 10" x 10"

SERGER EMBELLISHMENT
$15.00 Open to owners of sergers who have already taken the Serger New Owner class or
Serger BASICS class for all Brands (paid for the class)
All fabric is supplied for this class.
You will receive an email with the feet, threads, and supplies you need for the class on the Friday before class. Make sure we have a current email address for you.
You will need to bring a variety of threads that you have used in past classes. Learn to use the other feet available for your serger:
Blind hem, elastic, cording, multipurpose, beading and gathering feet. You must be comfortable with rethreading your serger. Serger must be in good working order.
Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you receive a class confirmation form and supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated. Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
There are no refunds on national teachers. If you can not make the class please find a substitute. We will assume that you are the one coming to class unless otherwise notified. Let us know who your substitute is or give them your registration form.
For our in store classes the refund policy is: Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee refunded. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees.
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, individuals who registered for that class will be notified and a full refund will be mailed. 210-344-0791
