Scrap Therapy Classes

Scrap Therapy Cutting Workshop (required)

Do you have scraps that seem too good to throw away and yet you don’t know exactly what to do with them.  Do you even have left over parts of jelly rolls and charm packs?  Bring your scraps- at least a large bag full, learn to rotary cut them into usable squares, logs and shapes to make the projects that will be introduced in this class. You will want to bring a rotary cutter, medium sized ruler, and board.  There will be rulers to sample- many new ones will be introduced.
You will receive a clear view storage box to organize them and a blueprint to start using them.
Start your rotary cutters.

 

Scrap Therapy Session 

Cutting Workshop required
Once you have taken the Cutting Session then it will be obvious that you need more therapy.  Just looking at your stacks will be soothing as we create objects from the stacks.

Supply sheets:  Machine with 1/4" foot, other accessories for machine including foot control and power cord, rotary cutter, board, ruler, 6.5" square up ruler or 4.5" sqiuare up ruler, thread for the project.  Instructions provided.

Stack of 5" squares that are dark.  You can color coordinate the darks to a particular color way. The darks can be a mixture of large and small dark prints.

Stack of 5" squares that are light.  You can of coordinate the lights to beige, white, or another coloration.  The lights are not definite prints. These classes are to learn the techniques so about 50 squares each should be enough. 

Fabric-Thank you for purchasing your fabric at Creative Sewing Center. It should be pre-washed if it is going to be washed in the future. We suggest that you check to make sure the minimum number of students has enrolled before selecting your fabric. If there is a kit, it will not have been washed.
All classes with a scissor symbol need the basic supplies above. Most classes need other supplies. Supplies should be purchased before class.

Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you go online to get a supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated. Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, individuals who registered for that class will be notified and a full refund will be mailed. Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees
THERE IS NO REFUND ON CLASSES WITH NATIONAL TEACHERS. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN GIVE YOUR SPACE TO SOMEONE ELSE. PLEASE CALL US IF THIS HAPPENS SO THAT WE CAN MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE ROLL FOR CLASS.
