Computer to Machine Embroidery Classes held at Creative Sewing Center
You will need these items for most class. All classes incorporate sewing and embroidery techniques.
You will need templates and hoops for your machine –the large hoop & med. Lg. with placement templates, for most lessons.
In most classes you will need stabilizers, so cut a piece of every type of stabilizer that you own big enough to be 2" larger than your hoops. Just bring those pieces in a plastic bag to class. This will give you confidence that you have something should you need it.
Don't bring a roll of everything. Please bring a variety of stabilizers such as Tear Away, Totally Stable, Aqua Film Topping, Sticky or Perfect Stick stabilizer.
Embroidery threads --a Basic Color set would include
dark, medium, & light - toned threads of your main colors,
plus white and black. This means at least bring 2 colors of the thread you use most
Bobbin thread, extra bobbins
Sewing tools : marking pen or chalk, Scissors, embroidery nippers,

These classes are hands-on with the goal of sending a design from the selected CD. Receive the design through a direct download from a computer (one will be in class), on a memory stick you can provide your own that is purchased at Creative Sewing Center (we know they work) or through a powered CD Rom that you may own. Each month is a different project. Saturday and Wednesdays of the same month are the same project. This design and the handouts will be yours even if you are not able to come to the class you are enrolled for, but we can not guarantee that the other session is open if you miss your session.
Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you go online to get a supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated. Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, individuals who registered for that class will be notified and a full refund will be mailed. Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees
THERE IS NO REFUND ON CLASSES WITH NATIONAL TEACHERS. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN GIVE YOUR SPACE TO SOMEONE ELSE. PLEASE CALL US IF THIS HAPPENS SO THAT WE CAN MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE ROLL FOR CLASS.

Basic Sewing Kit- Bring to classes marked with a scissor symbol:
scissors, pins, washout marking pens for both light and dark fabrics, seam ripper, sewing gauge, machine needles, and bobbins. There are specific supplies needed for some classes. If you have any questions Call 344-0791
BRING A MEMORY STICK TO CLASS if your machine will use a memory stick otherwise the design will come from your machine.

There are no refunds on national teachers. If you can not make the class please find a substitute. We will assume that you are the one coming to class unless otherwise notified. Let us know who your substitute is or give them your registration form.
