BERNINA - BROTHER NEW OWNER Quilting Classes
Basic Sewing Kit-
Bring these items to class fabric scissors, thread scissors, paper scissors, pins, washout marking pens for both light and dark fabrics, seam ripper, sewing gauge, machine needles, and bobbins. There are specific supplies needed for some classes. If you have any questions Call 344-0791
This class is FREE for all machines purchased at CSC. You must have taken New Owner #1.
Bring Your machine. We recommend a large Table or large Tray that is available for your machine. We do have Sew Steady Table for purchase for BERNINA machines. Brother machines also have large tables available for various models. You must be a foot control, power cord, knee lever if available and quilting accessories
If you own a BERNINA come to class even if you do not own the BSR foot. You will learn to use the walking & #29 free motion foot.
If you own a Brother please make sure that you have a walking foot and a free motion foot for your machine. Almost all the can be purchased here at CSC, but we have no extra accessories to use.

1 Spool of Variegated Sulky Blendables 30 weight Quilt Thread NOT Sulky Rayon or a spool of Variegated King Tut
90/ 14 Topstitching needles by Schmetz
Preprinted panel of the muslin Skill builders 45” x 45”
Muslin for the back of the panel 45” x 45”
45” of Pellon cotton batting or 80/ 20cotton with polyester by Hobbs
Package of safety pins for putting your project together
“Machingers” or “Grabaroos” for quilting
FREE MOTION FOOT #29, #Q, #9, or all the feet that came with your machine

Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you write down your class on a calendar and download the supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated. Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
There are no refunds on national teachers. If you can not make the class please find a substitute. We will assume that you are the one coming to class unless otherwise notified. Let us know who your substitute is or give them your registration form.
For our in store classes the refund policy is: Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee refunded. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees.
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, individuals who registered for that class will be notified and a full refund will be mailed. 210-344-0791
