Learn 3 different methods to apply appliqué to garments and quilts. Learn to create and sew a simple heart appliqué with a satin stitch, blanket/ buttonhole stitch and mock hand look stitch. Fabric, stabilizer, and thread provided

Do you cringe thinking about sewing set in sleeves, collars, buttonholes and yet want to make a “cool” theme shirt that you have seen hanging in the store? This is the class! Bring a panel and 4 coordinating fabrics or a group of fat quarters that you want to use. We will show you how in this class.

Serger Basics for all Brands
Friday April 6

EVENT
Learn to thread your serger and sew basic seams and hem finishes in this class that is open to all makes and models of sergers. Your serger must be in good working order. Please bring your instruction manual to class.

Pants Fitting & Construction Techniques
coming in May

ENROLL

Ida will help you fit the pattern and measure for the pants before sending you home to make the sloper. Bring the fashion fabric for the next class and make the basic pull on pants which can accept most pant styles including zippers and waistbands.

Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you receive a class confirmation form and supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated. Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
There are no refunds on national teachers. If you can not make the class please find a substitute. We will assume that you are the one coming to class unless otherwise notified. Let us know who your substitute is or give them your registration form.

For our in store classes the refund policy is: Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee refunded. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees.
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, individuals who registered for that class will be notified and a full refund will be mailed. 210-344-0791
