We have been doing $5.00 Quilts at Creative Sewing Center for about 10 years. They are designed to teach techniques, the use of many fabrics, to give the student an opportunity to make decisions and be part of a large group of people with varied interests. This is not about a FREE Block which many students do achieve as part of the class. It is about finishing one block in one month and the feeling of accomplishment that it gives to know that you have done something for yourself in this hectic world that we live in. It is about letting the family know that what you do is important enough for them to take care of themselves for about one hour so that you can complete the block for Show and Tell. It is about showing your work, perfect or not based upon your level of experience and seeing what other people have done with the same demonstration. It is about you, traveling to a new level of expertise and accomplishment. There are of course some criteria to make this happen. Then again, where else can you get a $5.00 quilt block these days even if you can't come to class. Join us, we gaurantee that you will gain many things in this new adventure. One of them may be someone bringing Pizza home for dinner for you on Wednesday night before class on Thursday morning.

ENROLL in this $5.00 Northern Lights Quilt- the fabrics are a representation of the colors in the quilts.

This quilt is the basic idea. The blocks will look similar but the colors are based on the above samples. You can see that the setting blocks are very nice.
